Makes me wonder if I ever had a good date. I couldn't believe it when I saw it later and it was actually funny.

funny storie, I was once ragging on a movie I saw one time and mentioning how I was on a date so I had to pretend like I liked it. Then the girl next to me, who was now married to a good friend said, "Tim, you saw that with me." Ouch.

J, I'm with you on the Elf. Quality.

And I'll try to send you our address. The mail is pretty good here, unless you are my folks. I think everything they send gets lost.tim rushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03448920576305000818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10159469.post-1162536319308192752006-11-03T00:45:00.000-06:002006-11-03T00:45:00.000-06:00OK, I have to throw in Elf with Will Farrell. Tha...OK, I have to throw in Elf with Will Farrell. That movie is way funny. I know you guys might think I'm a cotton-headed ninny-muggins, but it is just too funny.

Angie - That music was soo good for the movie. I've been listening to a lot of Jack's other albums. The Curious George movie is a good one to play in the car for the kids because you get to listen to good music and they get to watch a good show. It is a win-win situation.

Tim - Cry? Did I say cry? I must have mistyped... I... don't... cry... my eyes burn sometimes from it being late and watching a movie and they water a little, but I would never (admit to) cry(ing). BTW - can you email me your mailing address? How reliable has the mail system gotten in Mexico since 15 years ago? (holy cow it's been that long since I moved to Mexico!)

JThe Harris Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06810416405255544315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10159469.post-1162525894270520202006-11-02T21:51:00.000-06:002006-11-02T21:51:00.000-06:00I can't believe no one has mentioned The Wedding S...I can't believe no one has mentioned The Wedding Singer...or So I Married An Ax Murderer....

Anyone seen Click? Of course, this is Mexico so I was gone awhile.

Jeff, that is the most classic post ever! Did I hear a niner?

Amy G, it is all about the people... it makes me hurt for Jeff that you didn't give it a real shot.

Or was Daniel the one that said it was about the people? To prove your point, I went on a bad date to see Christmas Vacation and didn't think it was any good. Later, I watched it with funny people. I couldn't believe it.

Jason, just for the record, I didn't cry. And, I took Q to see Curious George in March. It is out here in Spanish now. But Will Ferrel made that movie. I can't imagine it without him.

Heather, did you like it? And I think we could get UPS to front the start-up money. If not, DHL would.

Shaner, how can that movie be funny? My lips hurt real bad... that's not funny. Claiming to already know the "one liners" that "make" the movie she claimed to have no interest. I think she was being closed minded and had no idea of the "power of who you watch movies with" ...(thank you Daniel) Her unwillingness to join me in the movie kind of hurt... "not so much here... or here... but right here."

My point... if you haven't seen, or watched, Tommy Boy...ie... all .01% of you... You should watch it! If you haven't seen in for a while... you should watch it again. I give it a thumbs up.

Signed,
Herbie HancockAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10159469.post-1162521680447087922006-11-02T20:41:00.000-06:002006-11-02T20:41:00.000-06:00I think The Gods Must Be Crazy was in the 80's lik...I think The Gods Must Be Crazy was in the 80's like Napoleon Dynamite is now. I felt tortured watching Napoleon, but after it was over I could recall some very funny lines. Watching Napoleon Dynamite reminds me of how I felt when I was forced(By someone I respect and love) to watch Tommy Boy.
And I agree with Daniel, some movies are all about the people you watch it with.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10159469.post-1162520615670696942006-11-02T20:23:00.000-06:002006-11-02T20:23:00.000-06:00I agree, The Power of One is one of the greatest m...I agree, The Power of One is one of the greatest movies of all time. I also like Hotel Rwanda.
I must admit the first time I watched Napolean Dynamite, I thought it was the dumbest movie ever made. I watched it later in a different setting with some friends from Harding Grad school and members of our youth group and I found it hilarious. It is amazing how much setting has to do with one's view of a movie.Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04965975823982961130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10159469.post-1162513873522922722006-11-02T18:31:00.000-06:002006-11-02T18:31:00.000-06:00OK... Maybe I'll give it a first time try.

Tim - I too must admit that "Pride and Prejudice" made me tear up. It was a great movie.

I watched Nacho Libre a couple of nights ago. I thougth that was funny. Not a heavyweight film, but a good Lucha Libre film. I wonder if Shawn Gary is into Lucha Libre like he was WWF (not World Wildlife Federation.)

My favorite movie lately... Curious George. This is a must see!
