Merry Christmas

We leave for Tulsa in just a few hours. I really ought to be packing I guess.

A few years ago, before opening presents on Christmas, my dad asked us to go around the room and tell our favorite Christmas memory. It was really a neat experience... except that everyone's favorite memory involved the one Christmas I was in Portugal. (Who'd have thunk?) After a bit, it got just a bit awkward.

But here's hoping that you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with many favorite memories.

You guys are probably already on your way to Tulsa... so this'll be waiting to greet you whenever you find a computer!

Guess who I met for lunch today? Kristi (Wood) Mims! She and her husband Clif were traveling through my area & gave me a call. So we met in a local smoke-filled grease pit (my eyes are still burning!) to visit for awhile! Just wanted you to know your name came up in conversation... And I got an update on Jenny and Rob too. Oh, and Clif actually found my blog through yours! And yours through Dusty's and Dusty's through John Dobbs... It's a small blog world after all!

Clif and Kristi have 3 kiddos... but only had the youngest, Zeb, with them. The other two are Zak and Zaylee! Sweet, huh! It was such a blessing to see the woman Kristi is today! So beautiful!

Anyway... made me miss you!

Here's to making the best Christmas memory ever this year! Enjoy!

Jimmy, betcha this is the best one yet. Well, that is if you like PFChang with the Mayes and watching Cars 20 times with Hayden and Quincy and eating homemade sugar cookies with sprinkles after the Taco Bueno feast followed by the Office watch party. Well, it's not all about food. Can't wait!

Angie man I am jealous. I would love to chat with Kristi and Cliff even if it were in a smoked filled dive.
Tim I am sure you will have a blast! Our kids are being spoiled...I mean loved. We got to see Kristi and Paul Miller; Had a blast and ate some awesome homemade pizzas.
We hope this is an amazing Christmas for you.

I just wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed seeing you guys here. The Wednesday night you gave us a glimpse of your family in Mexico was awesome! You just can't imagine how personal that made it and helped us truly feel a part of your work. I've told Van I want to come see you guys there sometime so he's attempting to help me with my Spanish, I'm afraid I'm hopeless! I can speak even less of it than your Dad! Anyway, it's great to see you guys and I'm so glad you got to be here for Christmas!

Angie, how cool is that! Do you know how to contact Jenny?

Daniel, I got to see Amy Gearhart (Weaver) a month or so ago and she was talking about you and Kelly and about how wonderful you guys are. Just thought you should know that. Hope you had a great Christmas.

Wendy, I could seriously use some more Taco Bueno. We only went once! What's that about.

Amy G, don't know if I should be jealous of you or of the Millers. Sure it was a blast. And congrats to Jeff for winning the Angie-o-thon.

Jeanne, thank you so much for your comment. When we're doing those presentations, we never really know if we're connecting or not. But we had so much fun doing it and the feedback was good. We are just so grateful for Memorials partnership here. What a great team to be a part of!
